Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Olaf Bandyta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shia Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bandyta sprawls well initially but Johnson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bandyta looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Johnson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Bandyta wants to get back to full guard.

Johnson is looking for a kimura but Bandyta is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Johnson to get the leverage.
Johnson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bandyta with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bandyta tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.
Johnson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Johnson is trying for a kimura here. Bandyta looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Johnson wins by kimura!
