Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zack Addy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahmed Ahmed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Addy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ahmed is fending him off so far but Addy persists. Nope, Ahmed circles away and we're back to standing.

Ahmed drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Addy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ahmed has Addy in his guard.

Addy is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ahmed asserts his dominance and retains side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Addy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ahmed at a distance.
Ahmed shoots in looking for a takedown. Addy tries to sprawl out of it but Ahmed keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Addy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Zack Addy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Addy dives in and grabs Ahmed's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ahmed pushes down on Addy's head and hops out.
Addy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ahmed's waist but Ahmed gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Addy off to one side.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
