Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Willian Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Okazaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Willian Randolph!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luis Okazaro!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randolph is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Okazaro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Randolph tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Okazaro is in Randolph's guard.
Okazaro postures up.
Okazaro is stalling in the full guard.

Randolph is pulling down on Okazaro's head to control his posture.

We're going to have a standup here because Willian Randolph wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Okazaro.
Okazaro postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Okazaro tries to stand but Randolph is controlling his head.
Okazaro is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Randolph is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Okazaro is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Okazaro creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Randolph sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Randolph is trying to control Okazaro's posture but Okazaro avoids it.
Okazaro throws a strike aimed at the side of Randolph's head but Randolph avoids it well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Randolph throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Okazaro tries to advance to mount but can't.

Okazaro stands up.

Randolph gets caught flat footed, as Okazaro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Okazaro pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Randolph is keeping the position for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Okazaro wanted to stand there but Randolph had control of the position.
Randolph is pulling down on Okazaro's head to control his posture.

Randolph has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Okazaro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luis Okazaro dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Randolph struggling a bit here.
Randolph is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Okazaro wants to take a breather but Randolph manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Okazaro.

Randolph not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Okazaro jumps guard and drags Randolph to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Randolph throws a big elbow that misses.

Randolph decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Okazaro, up you get!
Willian Randolph is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Okazaro lands a head kick. Randolph smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Randolph decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Okazaro is trying to maintain the position but Randolph is very close to passing his half guard.

Okazaro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Randolph. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Okazaro is breathing heavily.

Randolph decides to stand up.

Randolph is looking to clinch.

Randolph closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Okazaro to the mat! Okazaro manages to get full guard.

Okazaro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Randolph defends it easily.
Okazaro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Randolph cracks Okazaro with a solid left hand.

Randolph makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Randolph chips away with some ground and pound.
Willian Randolph overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Okazaro utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Randolph is working Okazaro over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Randolph is looking to work some ground and pound but Okazaro has wrist control.
Randolph trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Randolph tries to clinch but Okazaro moves out of range.

Randolph rushes Okazaro and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Randolph is trying to pull guard but Okazaro has him pressed against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Randolph is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Well, if Okazaro is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Randolph is controlling Okazaro's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Randolph is not content to let Okazaro control the position.
Randolph has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Luis Okazaro was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Okazaro goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Okazaro takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Randolph gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Okazaro to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Okazaro wants to stand and escape but instead Randolph has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Randolph chips away with some ground and pound.

Randolph won't allow Okazaro to get back to his feet.
