The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aragus connects with a right hand. Cabral shakes it off.
Cabral moves to clinch but Aragus breaks away

and Aragus counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Aragus wants to free his trapped foot but Cabral is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Aragus is thwarting Cabral's attempts to control the position.

Cabral had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aragus defends it easily.

Cabral tries to hold on but Aragus pushes him away.

Aragus postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Cabral in real trouble here! The ref calls for Cabral to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Kip Aragus tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
