Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winchester comes to the cage accompanied by Carry on my wayward son. The crowd seem to be enjoying Brown's choice of entrance music: Needle In The Hay. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown avoids a kick to the body.
Brown throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Winchester tries to bum rush Brown with a series of wild strikes but Brown uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Brown felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Winchester swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brown on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Winchester tries a head kick but it misses.
Brown lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Winchester tries for a takedown but Brown sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Brown uses his free foot to push down on Winchester's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Winchester.

Brown postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Winchester in real trouble here! The ref calls for Winchester to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
