Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karol Cropp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sawyer Hume (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karol Cropp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sawyer Hume!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hume defending well as Cropp loads up on a big left hand.
Hume lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A big left from Cropp misses.
Hume thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Cropp if he has to take too many more of those.
Sawyer Hume seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cropp thows a left - swing and a miss!
Cropp on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hume. Hume obviously looking to wear him down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hume jabs Cropp to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Cropp gets tackled into the cage by Hume. Hume maintains the clinch.
Hume struggles to land a body shot inside as Cropp controls his hands.
Hume misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cropp.
Hume throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cropps head.
Hume throws an elbow but it misses.
Cropp blocking some punches.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Hume throws a head punch that misses.
Hume trying to control the position but instead, Cropp has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hume into the cage.
Cropp wants to get back to striking at distance but Hume won't allow it.
We've been hearing reports that Cropp has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Hume working aggressively here.
Hume tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hume tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Hume blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hume.
Hume tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Hume controlling the action here for a moment.
Cropp pushes Hume back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Cropp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Nice combo by Cropp! Oh, that's hurt him - Hume falls to the canvas and Cropp follows him into side control.


It looks like Sawyer Hume has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cropp is looking to take a break and control but Hume is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hume is looking to regain half guard here but Cropp keeps moving and retains side control.
Cropp fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Cropp tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hume seems a little lost for a moment, as Cropp dominates the positioning.

Hume is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Cropp is trying to get an arm triangle but Hume is defending well.
Cropp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hume parries the strikes from Cropp easily there. Cropp is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hume to escape.
Cropp misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Hume is trying to improve his position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hume makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hume.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hume tries to clinch but Cropp moves out of range.
Karol Cropp is winning the standup battle so far.
Cropp misses with a straight right.
Hume closes the distance but Cropp moves to the side
and Cropp counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cropp uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hume.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hume. Cropp does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cropp lunges at Hume with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hume's hand.
Hume takes a swing at Cropp's ribcage but misses.
Hume cracks a nice hook into Cropp's ribs.
Cropp stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hume.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hume takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Cropp misses with a left hand
and Hume counters with a slapping leg kick.

Hume misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cropp takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cropp throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Cropp is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Hume looks to land a left hand but Cropp moved out of range nicely.

Cropp throws a looping overhand right but Hume ducks down to avoid it.
Cropp scores with a jab. Hume acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Hume tries to clinch up but Cropp circles away and keeps his distance.

Hume checks the leg kick nicely there.
A big left from Hume misses.
Hume just misses with a punch to the body.
Hume connects with a solid leg kick.

Hume does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hume bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cropp's head backwards.
Cropp thows a body shot but no joy.
Cropp is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Hume goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Karol Cropp has been cut.
Hume defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cropp.
Cropp pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cropp throws a shot from downtown. Hume moves away and avoids it.
Hume looks to score with a jab to the body but Cropp is just out of range.
Hume looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Hume backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Cropp's temple! It sends Cropp violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Hume celebrates and the doctors try to help Cropp!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Sawyer Hume!
