Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Fargus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lamar Jacobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fargus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Let's Get It ONNNNNNN!!!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jacobson. Fargus shrugs it off though.
Fargus is breathing heavily.

Jacobson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fargus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jacobson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Fargus to his feet.
Lamar Jacobson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jacobson feints and as Fargus raises his hands in defense, Jacobson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jacobson drops back looking for a leg! Fargus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fargus manages to kick Jacobson off! Jacobson jumps back into Fargus's guard.

Jacobson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fargus knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
