Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arnulfo Richard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Frenandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Frenandez with that takedown attempt.
Frenandez shoots in looking for a takedown. Richard tries to sprawl out of it but Frenandez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Richard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Richard. No joy for Frenandez on that attempt.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Richard crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Frenandez - the referee stops the clock and Richard gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Frenandez. Richard manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Frenandez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Richard walks away with a smile on his face. Frenandez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Richard looks up at the clock and then as Frenandez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Richard smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
