The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones dives in and grabs Clegane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clegane pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Clegane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Clegane slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Clegane circles away from the clinch attempt
and Clegane counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ray Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clegane throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jones misses the jab.
Jones moves to clinch but Clegane breaks away

and Clegane counters by clinching up.

Clegane manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Clegane is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
