The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Epps has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Serrano clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

It looks like Humberto Serrano has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Serrano manages to reverse the position and now he's in Epps's guard. Nice work there by Serrano.
Serrano could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Epps has momentary wrist control but Serrano slips an elbow through the middle.

Humberto Serrano has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Epps is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Serrano's half guard.

Epps lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Serrano quite badly. Serrano pulls Epps in close trying to recover. Epps postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Serrano on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Serrano doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
