The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Kersikov.

Kersikov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bowdrie. That did some damage!

Kersikov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Kersikov throws out a powerful jab.
Bowdrie stuns Kersikov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kersikov is looking to slow Bowdrie down with leg kicks.

Kersikov throws a right hand that Bowdrie ducks under and follows up with a left that Bowdrie also avoids with ease.
Nice uppercut there from Kersikov.
Kersikov sends Bowdrie crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kersikov is motioning to the referee to let Bowdrie up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Bowdrie is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bowdrie crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kersikov - the referee stops the clock and Bowdrie gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kersikov. Bowdrie manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Bowdrie is still on wobbly legs! Can Kersikov finish him?
Bowdrie is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Kersikov doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Bowdrie crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Bowdrie's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hamish Kersikov!
A relieved looking Hamish Kersikov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
