Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carol Deleon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Sokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carol Deleon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Sokov!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokov misses with a takedown
and Deleon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Deleon shoots in and gets a takedown into Sokov's guard.
Sokov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Sokov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Deleon stacks Sokov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Deleon!
Deleon has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Sokov misses with a takedown
and Deleon counters with a nice body shot.
Sokov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Deleon counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Carol Deleon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Sokov.
Sokov tries for a takedown but Deleon circles away easily
and Deleon counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Deleon.

Sokov is working for takedown but Deleon is calmly controlling the position for now.

Deleon manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Deleon decides to pull guard.
Sokov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Deleon dives on top into guard.

Deleon is in close to Sokov's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Sokov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Deleon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Deleon is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Sokov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Deleon lands a couple of digs.
Deleon cracks Sokov with a solid left hand.
Sokov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Deleon defends well.

Deleon is in close to Sokov's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Deleon makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Deleon is working Sokov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Sokov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Deleon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sokov is tightening it up a little... Deleon has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Deleon reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Deleon taps out! Nice BJJ there by Sokov!
