The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner misses with a double jab.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Banner fails with a takedown attempt.

and Banner makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
LaMotta throws a lazy right hand but Banner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Banner takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Banner takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
LaMotta cracks a nice hook into Banner's ribs.
LaMotta's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on LaMotta's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Banner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Banner wants to clinch up but LaMotta keeps it at a distance.

Banner goes for a double leg but LaMotta avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as LaMotta continues to drive forward.
LaMotta is struggling to control the position.
LaMotta lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
