Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uali Kurzhez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uali Kurzhez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Uali Kurzhez!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight stays on the outside here - Cook looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kurzhez throws a combination. Cook tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


It looks like Chris Cook has been cut.

Kurzhez feints and as Cook raises his hands in defense, Kurzhez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Chris Cook is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Cook looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kurzhez is one step ahead there.
