Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Kincaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Tyson Kincaid has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyson Kincaid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeffrey Hughes!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kincaid lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Jeffrey Hughes has been cut.
Hughes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kincaid.
Hughes takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Hughes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Kincaid fails to land.
Hughes misses with a hook to the ribs.

Hughes gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kincaid has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hughes is working away from the top position though.

Hughes slows the pace down in half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jeffrey Hughes.
Hughes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kincaid manages to avoid it.
Hughes throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kincaid counters with a stiff right hand.
Hughes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hughes fails with an attempt to clinch.

Kincaid misses with a looping left.

Kincaid takes the fight into the clinch.
Kincaid is trying to stall.
Kincaid wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hughes has him pressed against the cage.

Hughes pushes Kincaid back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hughes lands with a short shot to the head.
Hughes lands a left hand.
A hook to the body from Hughes.

Hughes is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kincaid can't fight it off and eventually Hughes manages to take the fight to the floor. Kincaid looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kincaid wants to sweep here but Hughes controlling him for the moment.
Hughes stays in close to Kincaid's body and controls the position.
Kincaid looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jeffrey Hughes was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Hughes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Still in half guard, Hughes seems content to control.
Hughes is looking to advance position but Kincaid won't allow it.
Hughes is taking a breather. Kincaid says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kincaid tries to roll over but Hughes keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hughes lands a glancing blow to the side of Kincaid's head.

Hughes closes the distance and clinches.
A short body shot lands from Hughes as the two fighters clinch.
Hughes misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Kincaid breaks the clinch.
Hughes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kincaid counters with a nice kick to the body.

Hughes moves into the clinch.
Kincaid is trying to force a seperation but Hughes has the dominant position.

Kincaid breaks from the clinch.
Kincaid slips under a jab.
Kincaid looks to land a combination. Hughes sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kincaid jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hughes on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Hughes throws a shot from downtown. Kincaid moves away and avoids it.
Kincaid works Hughes's body with a nice hook.

Kincaid misses with a wild combination.
Kincaid waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hughes.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hughes, as that shot connected.
Hughes lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kincaid at a distance.

Hughes closes the distance and clinches.
Kincaid's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Hughes keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kincaid's efforts to push away.
Hughes lands with a light punch inside.

Kincaid breaks from the clinch.
Hughes moves in looking to clinch but Kincaid pushes him off.
Hughes avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hughes tries to clinch up.
Hughes just misses with a punch to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hughes tries to clinch there but Kincaid circles away.

Hughes looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hughes wants to pass to mount but Kincaid is defending the position.
Kincaid is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hughes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hughes's back!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
You can see the frustration on Hughes's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Hughes is keeping busy.

Kincaid controls the action.
Will Kincaid go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Hughes looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kincaid keeps control of the position easily here as Hughes tries to buck him off.

Kincaid slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Kincaid has the hooks in. Hughes is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A lull in the action here as Hughes stalls from top position.
Kincaid is looking to reverse the position.

Kincaid is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The referee is keeping an eye on Hughes - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Kincaid is trying to force a seperation but Hughes has the dominant position.

Hughes gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hughes is looking to advance position but Kincaid has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Hughes wants to hold on but Kincaid pushes him away.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hughes can do anything to dispel that myth.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hughes wants to control but Kincaid is keeping busy.
