Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giant Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kong Man Choi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Giant Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kong Man Choi!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choi tries a low kick but Silva avoids it.
Choi misses with a series of wild punches.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nice takedown defense from Choi. No joy for Silva on that attempt.
Choi avoids the body shot from Silva.
Choi scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Choi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Choi throws a head kick that misses.
A head kick misses from Choi.
Kong Man Choi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Choi keeps the fight on the outside.
Choi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Left hook, right uppercut from Choi.
Choi misses with the combination.
Choi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Choi throws a wild body kick that Silva sees coming a mile off.

Silva looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Choi!
Silva throws some wild stikes that Choi manages to avoid easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Choi can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Choi is looking to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silva controlling from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Silva wants to control the pace but Choi is squirming around nicely.

Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Choi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Giant Silva dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Choi but Choi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Choi misses with a few strikes there.
Choi tries to work over Silva's front leg with a kick but Silva checks it.
Choi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Silva moves out of range of the body kick.
Choi avoids the body shot from Silva.
Choi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Silva waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Choi. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Choi to the canvas! Can he finish him!?


It looks like Kong Man Choi has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Choi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Choi is retaining full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silva slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Silva wants to control from the top but Choi keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Giant Silva just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Choi throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Kong Man Choi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Choi as he jumps to the side.
Silva shoots in and drives through. Choi sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Giant Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Choi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Choi tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Choi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva lands a hook that stumbles Choi back into the cage. Silva follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Choi to the canvas! Silva pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Choi has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Giant Silva!
