Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pulla Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sorsa comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac - Don't Get It Twisted. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett moves out of range of the strikes.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sorsa.

Bennett's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bennett paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

and Sorsa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sorsa.

Sorsa decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bennett, up you get!
Pulla Sorsa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sorsa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bennett tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sorsa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bennett somewhat.

Bennett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sorsa pinned against the cage. Sorsa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bennett shoots for a double leg takedown but Sorsa sprawls well. He's pushed Bennett's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sorsa feints and then cracks Bennett's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bennett down.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bennett looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Sorsa cracks Bennett with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Erik Bennett has been cut.
Bennett shoots in for a takedown but Sorsa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Sorsa tries to lock up and control but Bennett gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sorsa bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Bennett looks to land a combination. Sorsa sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Sorsa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bennett takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Bennett counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Bennett takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Bennett throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sorsa's waist but Sorsa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bennett off to one side.

Bennett doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bennett is breathing heavily.
Sorsa lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Bennett up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Sorsa from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Bennett's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

A relieved looking Pulla Sorsa thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
