The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sved dives in and scores a takedown into Corey Jr's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mike Corey Jr.

We've been hearing reports that Corey Jr has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sved with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
The referee is keeping an eye on Corey Jr - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sved just misses with a elbow thrown towards Corey Jr's brow.

Sved wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Corey Jr's closed guard. He's half up but Corey Jr has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Corey Jr pivots and extends the arm, Sved falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Corey Jr! Well done that man!
