Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Druff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brutus Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Druff's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mother *uckers. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Druff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brutus Nash!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Druff bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nash's head.


It looks like Brutus Nash has been cut.
Druff's corner calls for a 1-2. Druff obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Nash closes the distance and clinches up with Druff, looking for a takedown. Nash pushes Druff against the cage but Druff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nash takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Druff misses with an uppercut. Nash saw that one coming.
Nash lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

and Druff counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Druff tries to clinch but Nash is having none of it.

and Nash decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Druff's guard.
Nash must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Nash has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Druff is proving hard to escape from.

Druff is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nash looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nash distracts Druff with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Nash wants to control from the top but Druff keeps moving.
Nash controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Nash working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Nash throws a strike but Druff rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Druff controls from within his opponent's guard.

Nash working for submissions but it's allowed Druff to get to half guard.

Druff is trying to work for a kimura but Nash is defending well.
Nash is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Druff's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Druff's back!

The referee is taking a good look at Druff as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Nash!

Druff is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Druff covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nash keeps control of the position as Druff tries to break free.

Nash lands punches and elbows.
Nash throwing damaging strikes from the back! Druff could be in trouble here!
Nash slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Druff turns into Nash and is now in his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Druff wants to control from the top but Nash keeps moving.
Druff postures up in Nash's guard and throws a big left but Nash blocks it.
Nash is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Nash uses the cage to get back to his feet.
A slow jab from Nash misses its intended target.
Druff seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Druff scores with a one two! Nash had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Druff on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Druff tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nash swivels and escapes.
Druff closes the distance and clinches up with Nash, looking for a takedown. Druff pushes Nash against the cage but Nash circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Nash counters by clinching up.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Druff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Druff misses with a short punch on the inside.
Druff throws a punch but it's blocked by Nash.
Druff misses with the head strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Druff.
A head punch on the inside from Druff fails to land.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Druff misses with a short punch on the inside.
Nash avoids a wild elbow strike from Druff.
Nash blocking some punches.
Druff lands an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brutus Nash dominated that round.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Druff tries to clinch but Nash moves out of range.
Dan Druff is winning the standup battle so far.
Druff shoots in looking for a takedown. Nash tries to sprawl out of it but Druff keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Druff scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Druff throws a hook but Nash avoids it easily.
Druff throws a hook to the side of Nash's head but Nash sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nash scores with a jab to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Druff dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dan Druff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nash lands a nice shot that snaps Druff's head back.
A telegraphed right hand from Druff misses the target.
Druff throws a jab when Nash was well out of range.
Nash lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Druff - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Nash!
