The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salomon wants to clinch up but Wennberg keeps it at a distance.
Salomon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wennberg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Salomon tried to score with a low kick but Wennberg checks it.
Wennberg is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Salomon is looking to clinch but Wennberg is avoiding it.

Wennberg gets caught flat footed, as Salomon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Salomon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wennberg works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Salomon sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Wennberg seems to have recovered his senses.

Salomon wants to control the pace but Wennberg is squirming around nicely.

Wennberg wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Salomon postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Wennberg badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Salomon around the waist but Salomon pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Salomon is the winner by TKO! Salomon jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

A relieved looking Rafael Salomon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
