Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Travinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Chalidow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Travinski comes to the cage accompanied by Hungry Like the Wolf. Xavier Travinski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Travinski stuns Chalidow with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Travinski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chalidow manages to avoid it.

Travinski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chalidow manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Travinski makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chalidow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Travinski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Travinski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Travinski stays in close to Chalidow's body and controls the position.
Chalidow manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Travinski manages to get himself to full guard.
Travinski has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chalidow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Chalidow wants to sweep here but Travinski controlling him for the moment.
Travinski lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Chalidow has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Travinski should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Chalidow has tightened it up now! Travinski should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
