The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pallikari works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Houston Perkins has been cut.
Perkins fails with a takedown attempt.
Hektor Pallikari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Perkins. No joy for Pallikari on that attempt.
Pallikari misses the shot to the body.
Perkins moves out of range of the body kick from Pallikari.
Pallikari throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Perkins gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Perkins tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Pallikari is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Perkins buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Perkins!! Perkins is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Pallikari throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
