The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter throws a body punch but Estes moves out of range.

Estes manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hunter on his heels. He'll look to pass Hunter's guard now, I'm sure.
Hunter controls Estes momentarily but Estes frees himself.
Hunter working a defensive guard but Estes manages to pass into side control anyway.

Estes decides to stand back up. Estes steps back and let's Hunter get back to his feet.
Hunter keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Estes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hunter wants to control the action here but instead Estes manages to pass to full mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hunter takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Estes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hunter tries to hold on but Estes pushes him away.

Estes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Estes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Estes really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Hunter.

Estes is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Hunter has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Estes has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Hunter taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Estes doesn't care though - he's delighted!
