Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Drake Dusk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pika Chu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dusk's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Chu has chosen Gotta Catch Em All as his entrance music. Pika Chu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dusk digs a good body shot into Chu's ribs.

Dusk gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Chu is looking to break free of the clinch but Dusk has double underhooks.
Dusk prevents Chu from breaking the clinch.
Dusk tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Chu is trying to force a seperation but Dusk has the dominant position.
Dusk fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Dusk misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Chu tries to break free but Dusk pushes him back against the cage.
Dusk tries a body shot but Chu blocks it.

Dusk breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dusk falls off balance throwing a combination
and Chu counters with a nice uppercut.
Dusk shoots in but no luck this time.
Dusk is looking to clinch but Chu is avoiding it.
Chu misses with a low kick as Dusk jumps back.

Dusk rushes Chu and presses him up against the cage.
Chu is trying to break the clinch but Dusk is controlling him.

Chu is trying to push Dusk away but Dusk has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Dusk can't get the takedown.

Dusk gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Dusk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Chu is wriggling around but Dusk manages to pass to half guard.

Chu felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Dusk wants to control but Chu is keeping him busy.

Dusk stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Chu to get to his feet.
Dusk misses with a straight left.
Chu connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dusk momentarily.

It looks like Drake Dusk has been cut.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Chu!
Dusk looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dusk shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dusk was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Dusk has hold of Chu's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Chu tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dusk cranks the arm and Chu screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Chu, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Drake Dusk!
