The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benn uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rimppi.
Benn shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rimppi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rimppi throws an overhand right that lands on Benn's shoulder, as Benn tries to avoid the shot.
Rimppi digs a good hook to Benn's body.
Benn moves out of range as Rimppi strikes.
Benn on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Aj Benn has been cut.
Rimppi misses with a straight right.
Benn tries to bum rush Rimppi with a series of wild strikes but Rimppi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice jab there from Rimppi.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big left from Rimppi misses.
Erkki Rimppi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rimppi lands with an uppercut that bounces Benn off the cage and back into range.
Rimppi cracks Benn with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Benn gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rimppi gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
