Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lil Choi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qwertyui Qwerty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Qwertyui Qwerty looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Lil Choi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Qwertyui Qwerty!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choi doesn't manage to clinch there - Qwerty circles away.
Choi shoots in for a takedown but Qwerty shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Choi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Choi content to control rather than advance.
Choi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Qwerty keeps working.
Qwerty wants to get back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Lil Choi wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Choi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Qwerty is not content to let Choi control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Choi connects with a nice short shot to Qwerty's temple.

Choi passes into side control, despite Qwerty's attempt to control the position.

Choi decides to take the fight back to the feet.
We've been informed that Qwerty has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Choi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Qwerty looks winded!

Qwerty tries to pull guard but Choi holds him up against the cage and eventually Qwerty drops back down to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Qwerty ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Qwerty no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Choi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Choi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Choi wants to control from the top but Qwerty keeps moving.
Choi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Qwerty swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Qwerty wants to stand and escape but Choi is having none of it.

Choi gets to his feet - Qwerty follows without any prompting.
Choi tries to clinch but Qwerty moves out of range.
Choi misses with a wild combination.
Nice takedown defense from Qwerty. No joy for Choi on that attempt.

Qwerty wants to clinch.
Choi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Qwerty swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lil Choi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Qwerty shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Choi but Choi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Qwerty takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Qwerty instigates a clinch.

Choi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Qwerty walks away with a smile on his face. Choi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Qwerty explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Choi shoots in but no luck this time.
Qwerty fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Choi.
Qwerty moves out of range as Choi throws a body kick.
Choi lands a jab to Qwerty's midsection.

Qwerty will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Choi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Qwerty's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Qwertyui Qwerty will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Choi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Qwerty tries to avoid it but Choi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Qwerty to the ground. Qwerty escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A right-left combo lands from Qwerty.
Choi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Qwerty shoots in for a double leg but Choi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Qwerty tries to clinch there but Choi circles away.
Choi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Qwerty.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Choi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
