The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shishkanov swinging wildly here.
Shishkanov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wilson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vasiliy Shishkanov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson throws a combination that misses
and Shishkanov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wilson swings for the body but Shishkanov moves out of range.
Wilson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shishkanov manages to avoid it.
Wilson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wilson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Vasiliy Shishkanov has been cut.

Shishkanov shoots in and bounces Wilson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
