Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cody Hendrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Aldo's choice of entrance music: Alab ng Puso-Abra. Cody Hendrix has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Hendrix really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hendrix is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Aldo to keep the fight standing.

No joy there for Aldo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jose Aldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aldo rushes Hendrix with punches - Hendrix moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Hendrix goes down! Aldo follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

After the fight, Jose Aldo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
