The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Clayton.
Clayton shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Alvarez eats them both and turns towards Clayton to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Clayton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Alvarez dives in and grabs Clayton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clayton pushes down on Alvarez's head and hops out.
Clayton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Alvarez ducks right into an uppercut from Clayton.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Alvarez might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Clayton has got the better of the exchanges.
