With a record of 6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Valko Dragov!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gomez gets a clinch.
Gomez prevents the takedown attempt.
Gomez looking to throw knees to the head but Dragov is blocking nicely.
Gomez lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dragov backwards.
The referee calls for Gomez to work.

Gomez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dragov lands a glancing blow to the side of Gomez's head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Dragov.
Gomez lands a body shot.
Dragov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dragov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dragov prevents Gomez from standing back up.
Dragov missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Gomez wants to get back to his feet.
Dragov trying to mount his opponent but Gomez defends it.

Dragov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gomez defends it well.

Gomez kicks Dragov off and gets back to his feet.
Gomez dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gomez is looking to clinch but Dragov is avoiding it.
Gomez throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dragov.
Dragov lands a jab to Gomez's midsection.

Gomez gets caught flat footed, as Dragov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gomez is adopting a defensive guard.
Dragov wants to control from the top but Gomez keeps moving.

Dragov looking to sit in guard and control but Gomez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dragov working for a triangle but Gomez defends it easily.
Gomez works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Gomez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Gomez works his foot free and advances to mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dragov is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gomez trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Dragov can't escape the position.

Gomez stands up from mount. Strange move.
Gomez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gomez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dragov circles away quickly and effectively.
Gomez with a hook.
Gomez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dragov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gomez tries to clinch up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dragov swings for the body but Gomez moves out of range.
Dragov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gomez.
Gomez circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Dragov to the canvas! Dragov doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Gomez keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
