The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy shoots for a double leg takedown but Jander sprawls well. He's pushed Kennedy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kennedy shoots in for a takedown but Jander shows good takedown defense.
A head kick misses from Kennedy.
Kennedy tries to clinch but Jander is having none of it.
Kennedy wants to clinch up but Jander keeps it at a distance.
Kennedy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jander avoids it really well and circles away.
Jigoro Jander has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyrone Kennedy.
Kennedy is looking to clinch but Jander is avoiding it.
Jander digs a good body shot into Kennedy's ribs.

Jander really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kennedy.

Jander connects with a nice looking jab.
Jander moves into range and connects with a jab.
Jander scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jander feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kennedys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Kennedy is rocked!
Jander throws out a loose jab but Kennedy uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kennedy is still on wobbly legs! Can Jander finish him?
Jander goes for a small jab and connects. Now Jander goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Kennedy stumbles back but Jander runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Kennedy to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Kennedy will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
