Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tim Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fidel Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Big Gun. Tim Hansen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tim Hansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fidel Mendez!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hansen just misses with a punch to the body.
A combination from Hansen does no damage.
No luck for Mendez with that takedown attempt.
Mendez has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Mendez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hansen's waist but Hansen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mendez off to one side.
Hansen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mendez.
Tim Hansen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fidel Mendez.
Mendez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hansen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hansen swings for the body but Mendez moves out of range.
Hansen scores with a leg kick.
Hansen misses with a low kick as Mendez jumps back.
Mendez shoots in looking for a takedown but Hansen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mendez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hansen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mendez has time to react.
Hansen scores with a hook to the body. Mendez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hansen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hansen throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mendez swinging wildly here.
Hansen moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Mendez is rocked!

It looks like Fidel Mendez has been cut.
Hansen throws a nice looking combination but Mendez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mendez is still on wobbly legs! Can Hansen finish him?
Mendez get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Mendez stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Hansen runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tim Hansen!
