Matthews is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Chaos is my life. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matthews closes the distance and clinches.
Torpedo is looking to control Matthews's arms but Matthews gets an underhook and turns him. Now Torpedo has his back to the cage.

Matthews lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Torpedo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Torpedo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Matthews is desperately trying to improve his position but Torpedo has a good base and remains in mount.
Torpedo lands a nice shot to the head.
Matthews really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Torpedo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Torpedo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Torpedo has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Matthews's face.
Torpedo wants to control the pace but Matthews is squirming around nicely.
