Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Dunham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Milligan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Dunham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Milligan!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Milligan gets a clinch.
Dunham looking to slow down the pace here.
Dunham avoids the elbow strike from Milligan, against the cage.
Milligan connects with a nasty looking knee right to Dunham's face.
Milligan lands an elbow that stopped Dunham in his tracks for a moment.
Milligan lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Milligan tries to land a knee to the head but Dunham blocks with his arms.
Milligan lands a nice elbow.
Milligan is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Dunham is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Milligan is defending well.
Dunham tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Milligan's coach down at The Scrapyard was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Milligan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Dunham takes an elbow to the temple.

Milligan has clasped his hands together around Dunham's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Milligan is putting a hurting on Dunham here, landing some big shots from side control.
Milligan lands a nice forearm strike.


Dunham is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dunham gets back to half guard.
Oh Dunham is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Milligan lands strikes from half guard.
Milligan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Milligan lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dunham quite badly. Dunham pulls Milligan in close trying to recover. Milligan postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dunham on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dunham doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Milligan!
An out of breath and clearly excited Jack Milligan thanked Ice Nutrition for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
