Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tron McFly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch Cling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McFly might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Disappear by Metalica. Cling has chosen Indistructable as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cling misses with a kick to the body.
Cling throws a push kick but McFly slaps the foot to one side.
McFly tries to clinch but Cling moves out of range.
McFly takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Tron McFly has been cut.
Cling finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Some wild striking there from Cling.
Cling looks to land a combination but McFly avoids it well.
Cling throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McFly.

Cling stops McFly from passing to mount.
Cling is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but McFly has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McFly wants to control but Cling is keeping him busy.

McFly misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McFly cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

McFly pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cling wants to land a leg kick but McFly is out of range.
Horrible takedown by McFly or perhaps it was just good defense by Cling which made him look bad.
Cling attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
McFly looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

McFly closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McFly lands in his opponent's guard.
Cling wants to stand but McFly is controlling the position.

Cling is breathing heavily.

McFly is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cling is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
McFly advances to half guard.

Cling has one foot on McFly's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Cling misses with a looping left.

Cling is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, McFly asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Cling takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

McFly stands up.
McFly is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

McFly darts in and clinches Cling up against the cage.
McFly landing knees to the head.
McFly goes for a takedown attempt but Cling pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

McFly tries to clinch up but Cling circles away and keeps his distance.

McFly shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cling's guard.

McFly gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Cling swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McFly avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cling misses with a double jab.

Cling throws a series of punches but McFly avoids them all with ease.

McFly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Cling gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

McFly looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cling is fending him off so far but McFly persists. Nope, Cling circles away and we're back to standing.

Cling throws a right hand that McFly ducks under and follows up with a left that McFly also avoids with ease.
McFly scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

and McFly counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cling is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Cling is rocked!
McFly cracks Cling on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Cling falls backwards against the cage. McFly follows up with more strikes that drop Cling to his knees. McFly keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Cling! This one is all over!
