Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sahey Ignatyev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Einari Hautamaki!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hautamaki fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ignatyev cracks the inside of Hautamaki's front leg.
Ignatyev throws a hook but Hautamaki blocks it.
Hautamaki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ignatyev connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hautamaki closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Hautamaki takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ignatyev throws a head kick but Hautamaki moves out of range.
Ignatyev misses with a low kick as Hautamaki jumps back.
Hautamaki has a takedown stuffed.
Sahey Ignatyev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Einari Hautamaki.
Hautamaki dives in for a single leg takedown but Ignatyev sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hautamaki tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hautamaki is trying to break the clinch but Ignatyev is controlling him.
Ignatyev lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Ignatyev.
Ignatyev lands a body shot in the clinch.

Hautamaki tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hautamaki is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ignatyev scores with a shoulder strike.
Ignatyev pushes Hautamaki back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Ignatyev.

Hautamaki pulls guard effortlessly.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ignatyev passes Hautamaki's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hautamaki is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hautamaki actively working from the bottom here.
Ignatyev looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sahey Ignatyev.
Ignatyev lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hautamaki's sensitive parts.
Ignatyev connects with the punch.
Horrible takedown by Hautamaki or perhaps it was just good defense by Ignatyev which made him look bad.
Hautamaki darts in looking for a takedown but Ignatyev gets double underhooks and turns Hautamaki into the cage.
Hautamaki tries to pull guard but Ignatyev won't allow it.
Ignatyev lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.


It looks like Einari Hautamaki has been cut.
Ignatyev's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Hautamaki is looking to break free of the clinch but Ignatyev has double underhooks.
Hautamaki tries to break the clinch but Ignatyev is controlling the position.
Ignatyev throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Ignatyev has Hautamaki pushed against the cage.
Hautamaki wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ignatyev has him pressed against the cage.
Ignatyev lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Ignatyev is trying to maintain a safe position but Hautamaki gets an underhook and turns Ignatyev into the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Hautamaki's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hautamaki fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Hautamaki pulls guard.
Ignatyev controls from within his opponent's guard.
Ignatyev wants to control from the top but Hautamaki keeps moving.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Hautamaki is looking for a triangle but Ignatyev pushes his legs off easily.
Ignatyev wants to control from the top but Hautamaki keeps moving.

We're going to have a standup here because Sahey Ignatyev wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Hautamaki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ignatyev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hautamaki has an Americana. Ignatyev didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hautamaki is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hautamaki hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Einari Hautamaki!
