Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shapovolov Sokoloff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Articulate Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sokoloff was well out of range. Poor timing from Fighter.
Fighter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sokoloff fails with a takedown attempt.
Shapovolov Sokoloff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fighter throws a sloppy head kick and Sokoloff moves out of range easily.

Sokoloff shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sokoloff was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sokoloff lands a few punches from side control.
Sokoloff cracks Fighter with a big right hand but Fighter just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Sokoloff has hold of Fighter's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Fighter seems comfortable defending it but Sokoloff has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Fighter is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Fighter is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sokoloff couldn't care less - he's delighted!
