The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blanco gets caught flat footed, as Fatton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Fatton wants to control from the top but Blanco keeps moving.
Blanco pulls Fatton in close to prevent any damage.

Fatton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Blanco manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fatton has Blanco in his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Blanco content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Blanco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fatton swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fatton is looking for a triangle but Blanco pushes his legs off easily.
Blanco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fatton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Blanco wants to control from the top but Fatton keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Roberto Blanco was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Blanco stuffs the takedown attempt from Fatton. Fatton gets slowly back to his feet.

Fatton tries to get into range but Blanco steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Fatton! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Blanco scores the big KO victory!
