Pope comes into the arena with LMFAO - Sexy and I Know It blaring out of the sound system. Carwin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mama Said Knock You Out. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Carwin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pope. That's going to slow Carwin down.
Carwin steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pope. That one must have hurt.
Pope throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Carwin on the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pope cracks Carwin with a good jab.
Carwin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pope.
Carwin misses with the combination.
Pope fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carwin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Shane Carwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pope keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Carwin.

Pope closes the distance and pushes Carwin back into the cage.
Pope doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Pope lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Pope missing with knees to the body.
Pope scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A shot in the inside from Carwin.
Pope on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Pope lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Carwin.
Carwin looks winded!

Carwin blocks an elbow strike.
Pope lands with a right to the head.

Pope manages to break the clinch.
Pope thows a body kick. Carwin tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Pope feints a jab and as Carwin dips his head, Pope unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Carwin right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Carwin falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Pope smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
