Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arlen Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nate Diaz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Diaz scores with a four punch combination!

Diaz moves into the clinch successfully.
Bush slowing the pace effectively.
Bush really is a fat lump.

Bush tightens his grip and picks Diaz up, before dumping him to the ground. Diaz manages to land in guard.

Bush decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Bush throws a sloppy head kick and Diaz moves out of range easily.
A punch combination from Diaz misses.
Diaz lands with a right hand.

Diaz takes the fight into the clinch.

Diaz manages to pull guard.

Diaz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bush scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Bush gets to his feet. Diaz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Diaz drives through with a takedown into Bush's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Bush has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bush has hold of one of Diaz's legs. Diaz is fighting the takedown attempt but Bush gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Diaz has his foot on Bush's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bush works his way back into a safe position though.

Diaz is working an open guard so Bush takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Bush escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bush manages to break the clinch.

Bush fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Diaz, pushing him back against the cage.
Bush displaying some good clinch control by pressing Diaz up against the cage.

Bush landing some decent shots from guard.
Bush working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Diaz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bush is looking to work some ground and pound but Diaz has wrist control.

Bush gets to his feet. Diaz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Bush rushes Diaz and presses him up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Diaz gets control of Bush's arms and successfully pulls guard. Diaz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Bush is working Diaz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Diaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bush.

Diaz closes the distance and clinches.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Diaz wants to stand and escape but instead Bush has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Bush swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bush dodges the punch combination from Diaz.

Bush looking to score a takedown here. Diaz is defending well but Bush drives through and ends up in Diaz's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diaz is trying to control the position but Bush postures up.

Some wild striking there from Diaz.

Diaz manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bush on his heels. He'll look to pass Bush's guard now, I'm sure.

Bush pushes Diaz off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Diaz throws a right and a left that Bush avoids nicely.
Nate Diaz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Arlen Bush is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Diaz misses with a double jab

and Bush decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Diaz's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Arlen Bush showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bush, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
