PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Augustus Finster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Hitman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitman tries to clinch there but Finster circles away.
Hitman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Hitman.
Finster swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Finster keeps the fight on the outside.
Finster swats away the attempt to clinch by Hitman.
Finster missing with a left hand there. Hitman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A telegraphed right hand from Finster misses the target.
Hitman tries to work over Finster's front leg with a kick but Finster checks it.
Finster throws a jab but it's blocked by Hitman.
Finster lands with a hook. Hitman tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Finster misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hitman.
Hitman misses with a series of wild punches.
Finster swings for the body but Hitman moves out of range.

Hitman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Finster.

Finster throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hitman was covering up waiting for the punch and Finster finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Finster throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hitman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Finster throws a strike but Hitman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Hitman is rocked!

It looks like Jon Hitman has been cut.
Finster loads up with a big shot that hurts Hitman! He's pulled Finster in close but Finster has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Hitman survive? More strikes from Finster and Hitman is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
