Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Flett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flett gets a takedown into half guard.

Dorian is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Flett pulls his head out easily.
Dorian is looking to improve his position.
Flett lands with a punch from half guard.

Flett seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Flett wants to take a breather but Dorian is having none of it.
Dorian is trying to get back to full guard.

Dorian is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Flett's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Flett's back!

You can see the frustration on Flett's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Flett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dorian is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Flett manages to reverse the position and now he's in Dorian's guard. Nice work there by Flett.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dorian is on top in guard.

Oh but Flett is tightening it up a little... Dorian has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dorian reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dorian taps out! nice BJJ there by Flett!
