The crowd seem to be enjoying Sanchez's choice of entrance music: La Raza. Dean Moshterd could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Raul Sanchez's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Moshterd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Raul Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moshterd moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Moshterd throws the left hand but Sanchez avoids the punch easily.
Sanchez throws a right and a left that Moshterd avoids nicely.
Sanchez lands a lovely overhand right.

Moshterd rushes Sanchez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sanchez is trying to break the clinch but Moshterd has him pressed against the cage.
Sanchez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Moshterd misses with a body punch.

Moshterd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Moshterd closes the distance and clinches up with Sanchez, looking for a takedown. Moshterd pushes Sanchez against the cage but Sanchez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sanchez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Sanchez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sanchez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Moshterd tries to close the distance and clinch but Sanchez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sanchez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sanchez tries to bum rush Moshterd with a series of wild strikes but Moshterd uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Nice takedown defense from Sanchez. No joy for Moshterd on that attempt.

and Sanchez counters with a series of strikes that sends Moshterd to the canvas! Sanchez follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

Sanchez wanted to stand there but Moshterd had control of the position.
Oh Moshterd is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Moshterd lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sanchez!
Sanchez's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Moshterd seems to have got his legs back now.
Sanchez has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

Moshterd is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sanchez is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Moshterd gets his way!

It looks like it's working - Moshterd slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Sanchez displaying calm under pressure there.

Dean Moshterd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Moshterd shoots for a double leg takedown but Sanchez sprawls well. He's pushed Moshterd's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Moshterd really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sanchez checks a leg kick.
Raul Sanchez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Moshterd. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Sanchez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moshterd circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sanchez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sanchez wants it to stay on the feet.

Sanchez lands with a big left! Moshterd is wobbled badly! Sanchez comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Moshterd to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Raul Sanchez!
Raul Sanchez decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
