Nicklaus throws a head kick but Rosenthal moves out of range.
Nicklaus throws a solid leg kick but Rosenthal takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nicklaus.

Rosenthal scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nicklaus doesn't seem bothered though.

Rosenthal has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Nicklaus goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Nicklaus lands a left and a right that sends Rosenthal crashing to the canvas! Nicklaus dives into mount looking to finish!
Rosenthal is rocked!
That has opened up Frank Rosenthal 's cut even more.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Nicklaus postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Rosenthal badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Nicklaus around the waist but Nicklaus pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Nicklaus is the winner by TKO! Nicklaus jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Nicklaus!
After winning the bout, Jack Nicklaus thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
