Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joan Mcclain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keshun Keshuns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keshun Keshuns will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joan Mcclain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keshun Keshuns!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Keshuns bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mcclain is trying to strike from the bottom but Keshuns has passed into full mount.
Keshuns looking to finish with strikes here!
Mcclain is desperately trying to improve his position but Keshuns has a good base and remains in mount.
Mcclain is squirming around, avoiding Keshuns's attempts to control the action.
Keshuns throws some wild stikes that Mcclain manages to avoid easily.
Mcclain throwing hammer fists to the chest of Keshuns. What's that going to do exactly?
Keshuns trying to control but Mcclain is having none of it.
Mcclain is desperately trying to improve his position but Keshuns has a good base and remains in mount.

Keshuns stands up from mount. Strange move.
Mcclain is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Keshuns.
Keshuns throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Mcclain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Keshuns sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcclain somewhat.
Keshuns slaps away a takedown attempt from Mcclain, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Keshuns takes the fight into the clinch.

Keshuns pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Mcclain tries to keep at a distance but Keshuns has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mcclain tries to break the clinch but Keshuns is controlling the position.
Mcclain is trying to push Keshuns away but Keshuns has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Keshuns is trying to break free.
Keshuns on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Mcclain throws a head punch that misses.

Mcclain pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mcclain shoots in for a takedown but Keshuns shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joan Mcclain. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Keshuns gets the takedown into side control.
Mcclain gets back to half guard.
Keshuns looks to land a strike but Mcclain avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Mcclain is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Keshuns wants to take a breather but Mcclain is having none of it.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Keshuns in particular looking to stall.
Keshuns is trying to control. Mcclain wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Mcclain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Keshun Keshuns hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mcclain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Keshuns sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcclain somewhat.

Keshuns drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mcclain had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Keshuns defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keshuns closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mcclain to the mat! Mcclain manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Keshuns tries to stand but Mcclain is controlling from the bottom.

Keshuns looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Mcclain postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mcclain is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Keshuns wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Mcclain is now in half guard.
Mcclain has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mcclain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Keshuns's head.
Mcclain tries to stand and escape but Keshuns is controlling the position.

Keshuns shoots in and bounces Mcclain off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Keshuns is breathing heavily.

Mcclain will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Keshuns wants to pass the guard but Mcclain is keeping the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mcclain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Keshuns can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joan Mcclain will probably get the nod.

Keshuns clinches.

Mcclain breaks from the clinch.

Keshuns throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mcclain tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Keshuns is in Mcclain's guard.

Mcclain is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Keshuns is aware though and is defending well.
Keshuns throws an elbow that misses. Mcclain uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Keshuns's guard. Nice move by Mcclain!

Mcclain postures up in Keshuns's guard and throws a big left but Keshuns blocks it.
Mcclain in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Keshuns wants to get back to his feet but Mcclain is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Keshuns has his foot on Mcclain's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mcclain works his way back into a safe position though.

Keshuns looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mcclain puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Mcclain decides to return to a standing position.
Keshuns tries to land a front kick but Mcclain steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mcclain blocks a head kick by Keshuns.

Keshuns rushes Mcclain and presses him up against the cage.

Mcclain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Mcclain tries to keep at a distance but Keshuns has taken the fight into the clinch.

Mcclain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Keshuns looking to score a takedown here. Mcclain is defending well but Keshuns drives through and ends up in Mcclain's guard.

Keshuns won't allow Mcclain to sweep him here.
Keshuns must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mcclain throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I would just about give that final round to Keshun Keshuns.
Well Keshuns has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
