The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by St Pierre or perhaps it was just good defense by Aberdeen which made him look bad.
St Pierre wants to clinch
and Aberdeen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Aberdeen landing some decent shots from guard.

Aberdeen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
St Pierre really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aberdeen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
St Pierre looking to hit a scissor sweep but Aberdeen is one step ahead there.
