Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mitsurin Mizu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Cena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Cena!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mizu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cena.
Cena tries to clinch up but Mizu circles away and keeps his distance.

Cena clinches up against the cage.
Mizu is looking to control Cena's arms but Cena gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mizu has his back to the cage.

Cena breaks the clinch.
Some wild striking there from Mizu.
Mizu throws a good cross that connects.
Cena throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Mitsurin Mizu has been cut.

Cena has closed the distance and engaged Mizu in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mizu is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Cena trying to land knees to the body.

Cena gets control of Mizu's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cena will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Cena is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mizu is aware though and is defending well.
Cena managing to control the position.

Cena isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mizu stacks Cena on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mizu!

Cena manages to get back to half guard.
Cena is trying to control but can't.
Cena moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Mizu wants to stand but Cena has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mizu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cena is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cena is pulling down on Mizu's head. It's preventing any offense from Mizu, at least for the moment.
Mizu has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cena is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Cena has his feet on Mizu's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Mizu drops Cena with a beautiful combination! Cena stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mizu is looking for the KO!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mizu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mizu sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Cena's defenses. It connects perfectly with Cena's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
