PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Beltran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Petey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beltran comes into the arena with Big Poppa blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petey on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Beltran shoots in and drives through. Petey sprawls well.
Petey tries to clinch up but Beltran circles away and keeps his distance.
Beltran lands a jab to the head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Petey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Petey throws the left hand but Beltran avoids the punch easily.
A punch lands to the side of Petey 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Beltran is looking for a kimura but Petey is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Beltran to get the leverage.

Beltran is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Petey defends it well.

Petey is trying to control but can't.
