Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jienaro Marfil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Pegeant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marfil comes to the cage accompanied by New Divide. Dennis Pegeant told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pegeant has a takedown stuffed.
Marfil lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pegeant at a distance.

Pegeant darts in looking for a takedown but Marfil gets double underhooks and turns Pegeant into the cage.

Marfil's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pegeant misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jienaro Marfil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Pegeant.
Marfil scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pegeant shoots in but Marfil avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Pegeant drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Pegeant throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marfil's waist but Marfil gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pegeant off to one side.

Marfil cracks Pegeant with a hook to the temple - Pegeant is on wobbly legs here! Marfil swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Pegeant falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Marfil wins by TKO!
