Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dakker Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Powerslave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powerslave misses with a looping right.
Kane tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Powerslave manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kane cracks Powerslave with a good jab.
Powerslave tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Powerslave loads up on a big right hand but Kane slips the punch.
We've been informed that Powerslave has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Kane thumps Powerslave with a low kick.
Powerslave thows a body shot but no joy.
Kane looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Powerslave takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Kane throws a looping overhand right but Powerslave ducks down to avoid it.
Powerslave throws a solid leg kick but Kane takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Powerslave.
Kane throws a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Powerslave's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kane connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Powerslave scrambles back to his feet.
Powerslave digs a good body shot into Kane's ribs.
Powerslave throws a hook but Kane avoids it easily.
Powerslave scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Dakker Kane has been cut.
Kane throws a lazy right hand but Powerslave sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A big left from Powerslave misses.
A shot to the body from Kane misses
and Powerslave counters with a nice uppercut.
Powerslave throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Powerslave cracks Kane with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Powerslave swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kane cracks Powerslave with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kane lands a slapping body shot.
Powerslave misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Powerslave misses with a low kick.
Kane moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kane misses with a body kick.
Kane jabs Powerslave to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Powerslave tried to score with a low kick but Kane checks it.

Kane gets a clinch.
Powerslave is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Kane lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Eddie Powerslave has been cut.
Powerslave is trying to push Kane away but Kane has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Kane has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Powerslave avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Powerslave's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kane goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kane pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Powerslave uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kane.
A telegraphed right hand from Powerslave misses the target.
Kane misses with an uppercut
enabling Powerslave to counter with a crisp jab.

Kane feints and as Powerslave raises his hands in defense, Kane changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kane wants to control from the top but Powerslave keeps moving.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dakker Kane dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kane gets the takedown into side control.
Powerslave tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Powerslave is not content to let Kane control the position.
Powerslave is pushing Kane's head away, looking to escape. Kane manages to hold on to the position though.

Kane working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Kane wants to lay and pray for a moment but Powerslave keeps working.

Powerslave wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Kane has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Powerslave's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Powerslave is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Kane!
